CarboXtrem is a company that connects 3D printing technology to consumers and businesses so they can get the most out of it.
Our mission is to help you realize your ideas, putting cutting-edge technology at your fingertips along with an extensive catalog of materials for your needs.
CarboXtrem makes made-to-measure cycling components: triathlon aerobars, 3D printed saddles, carbon handlebars and grips. No part comes in a standard size: each one is made to your measurements, your weight and the exact model of your bike, and the person who answers you is the one who will make it.

How each part is made
Hand-laid carbon
The body of the aerobars and handlebars is laid up by hand in T1000 grade carbon fibre, orienting the layers according to the loads the part will take: stiff where you push, with some flex where the road surface punishes.
3D mesh printed to your density
Everything that touches your body carries a 3D printed lattice mesh, made with Carbon's DLS technology in EPU resin. The density isn't the same across the part: it's worked out zone by zone and according to your weight, so it holds where you press and gives at the edges. That's what you can't do with foam.
Parts printed in technical nylon
The mounts and adapters are printed in aerospace grade nylon, which is what lets us fit them to each handlebar to the millimetre.
Why made to measure, not by sizes
A bike is bought by size; a body doesn't come in sizes. Sit bone width, forearm length or wrist angle change from one person to the next, and those are exactly the measurements that decide whether a part is still comfortable three hours in.
That's why we hold almost no stock: it's made when you order it, with your numbers. The usual lead time is two weeks, and express shipping takes 24 to 48 hours.
How we work with you
After you buy, we message you on WhatsApp and work out the measurements by talking, with picture instructions. No forms and no sales reps in between: the workshop answers.
If something doesn't fit once mounted, we adjust it as many times as needed until it's right, at no cost. And if we could see that a part isn't going to suit you, we tell you before charging you.
Where it's made
Everything is designed and made in Spain, in our own workshop, with our own printing and laminating machines. The parts are tested by racing: there are customers riding them every weekend, and their reviews are verified on Trustpilot.
What's the difference between made-to-measure aerobars and standard ones?
The position. Standard aerobars force you to adapt to a fixed length and tilt; ours are made with your forearm length and the angle that works for you, and the pads are printed with the density your weight calls for. It's the difference between holding the aero position for a few kilometres and holding it for the whole race.
Can they be fitted to any bike?
Yes in most cases. The aerobars fit both aero bars and flat bars with the right adapter, and we make them for practically every brand. Before making anything we check a photo of your bike and, if there were any incompatibility, we tell you before you pay.
What do I gain from a 3D printed saddle?
The mesh works like a suspension and spreads the weight between your sit bones, instead of concentrating it on two points. There's no foam to pack down and no gel to migrate in the heat, and the lattice is open, so it breathes.
How long does a made-to-measure order take?
About two weeks of manufacturing from the moment we have your measurements, plus 24 to 48 hours of shipping. If you have a race date, tell us when you buy and we take it into account.
