Triathlon aerobars are the extension fitted over the handlebar so you can take a more aerodynamic position, cutting air resistance and fatigue in time trials and long distance events. At CarboXtrem every aerobar is made to measure for your body so you can hold the position kilometre after kilometre.
Aero bar or flat bar: which is your case?
Our aerobars fit both an aero bar (triathlon and time trial bikes) and a flat bar (gravel, MTB or road bikes that want to add an aero position). The adapter lets you fit them to practically any cockpit without changing your handlebar.
How to choose your triathlon aerobars
- Length and elbow rests: so your forearm rests without straining your neck.
- Tilt and height: adjustable (0-35°) to find your power angle.
- Grips: 35° or 50° depending on how you hold your hands.
- Material: carbon for maximum stiffness and minimum weight.
Why made to measure, and why carbon
The structure is hand-laid in Sato T1000 grade carbon fibre: stiff where it matters and very light. Fitting it to the millimetre makes the position yours, not a generic size.

Hand-laid carbon (Sato fibre, T1000 grade). Certain parts are 3D printed in aerospace grade nylon.
