The whole saddle. The mesh works as the structure and the cushioning at the same time, so it needs neither a thick shell nor padding: there's no foam to pack down and no gel to migrate in the heat.
The lattice isn't the same across the whole saddle: it's worked out cell by cell. It's dense where your sit bones land, so it holds, and it opens towards the nose and the edges, so it gives and breathes. That's what you can't do with foam.
The only question that matters
Which size is mine?
Two minutes and a piece of cardboard. Your sit bones are the two bones you sit on, and the distance between them decides your size. You don't need to see a bike fitter.
- Take a piece of corrugated cardboardThe one from a box will do. Put it on a hard chair, no cushion.
- Sit on itFeet on the floor, back straight, and hold it for a few seconds putting your weight down properly.
- Look at the two marksTwo dents are left: those are your sit bones. Measure centre to centre, in millimetres.
- Choose that measurement aboveAnd if it doesn't come out clearly, leave "I don't know" and we'll ask you before making it.
Don't know it, or don't fancy measuring yourself? No problem: write to us and we'll work it out between us with two questions. Nobody makes anything until the size is clear.
