That's what we saved in internal testing, in race position, against a conventional setup. At 40 km/h those aren't numbers: they're minutes by the end of a half Ironman.
The profile is worked out so the air runs clean over your forearms, and the cabling goes inside so as not to break the flow.
Where your elbows rest
The TT doesn't take the small clip-on pad: it carries the large armrests, with far more contact area. Underneath runs the same printed lattice, denser under the elbow and more open at the edges, and you can see it along the edge of the part.
Spreading the weight over more surface is what lets you hold the position for three hours without your arms going numb. They're worked out from your weight and from what you actually load onto them in your real position.
Before we make it
A side-on photo on the bike, or your bike fit data if you have it.
Make and model. With that we know how we fit it and whether an adapter is needed.
Forearm length and your weight: they set the length and the density of the pad.
